Innerhalb des letzten Jahres entstanden 5 Songs von P.tah und Mirac, die die gemeinsame Liebe zu Rapshit und Bassmusic widerspiegeln und sich inhaltlich verschiedenen Formen der Angst widmen. Testa, seines Zeichens österreichische Dj-Größe mit eindrucksvollen Produktions-Skills, unterstützt die beiden live und mit vorbildlich gesetzten Effekt- sowie Vocal-Cuts.

The young man from London, England makes music that he simply calls “wyred folk”: a hybrid of electronically produced folk combined with instrumental Hip Hop. Swinging between melancholy and pure anger, strong guitar riffs mined from old psych rock records and the weeping voices lifted from old folk music, he seems to find his real home in a crate of old and dusty vinyl.

Die Wiener Electronic-Kombo theclosing, bestehend aus Daniela Auer, Alexander Hengl und TSI/Lukas Lehner, hat 2012 beim Portlander Independent Label Circle Into Square (Partnerlabel von Fake Four Inc.) ihr Debütalbum herausgebracht. theclosing vermengt dort in akribischer Manier analoge wie digitale Einflüsse, von Samples über Field Recordings, zu Klangstrukturen abseits jeglicher Genre-Grenzen. 2014 haben sie einige Live-Shows mit starkem Ambient-Einfluss und viel Improvisation gespielt. In naher Zukunft wird das “live at Beatmaker Sessions” Album auf Sm:art Guns Music in Zusammenarbeit mit Circle Into Square und Duzz Down San veröffentlicht.
