Corey Isiah Christie, better known by his stage name REKS is a Boston rapper. His albums Along Came The Chosen (2001, Landspeed Records) and Grey Hairs (2008, Showoff Records) were both released to general acclaim in the hip hop community. His debut featured hip hop musicians including Young Zee, Ed OG, J-Live and 7L while his second album featured DJ Premier, Large Professor, Skyzoo, Big Shug, Termanology, Krumbsnatcha and was mostly produced by Statik Selektah. His 2008 song, Say Goodnight was #3 on about.com’s list of the top 100 rap songs of 2008. His album R.E.K.S., which stands for Rhythmatic Eternal King Supreme, and was released to critical acclaim on March 12, 2011. In 2012 Reks appeared on UK Hip Hop artist Ricta’s debut album Snacks & Deception. – LastFM, nameisC

After that Reks constantly released his distinct rhymes, with ‚The Greatest X‘ being his last album which features Termanology, Jared Evan, Edo G, R.A. the Rugged Man, Planet Asia and Guilty Simpson, among others and was produced by Large Professor, The Alchemist, Nottz, Buckwild, Black Milk, Apollo Brown, Statik Selektah and The Audible Doctor.

Boston Hip-Hop mainstay Lucky Dice has been a force in his hometown’s scene for more than two decades, dropping a slew of notable mixtapes, singles, and guest features. And with ‚M.O.S.A. (Memoirs of a Starving Artist),‘ he channels his experience and discerning talents into a passionately crafted project that serves as his proper debut album.
The arrival of this winter’s raw and honest “Memoirs” revealed that Dice was ready to bring his album to the masses—and yes, it’s finally here.
The end result is an early contender for one of the year’s best rap releases, because Dice weaves a gripping tale across these 11 tracks. Like music blog Ohestee wrote about “Memoirs”: “All you hip-hop lovers are gonna vibe hard to this one.” – Digital Media 360
