Are Nada Aiko (Vocals, Synths, Piano) and Pascal Holper aka &c (Drums, Live Electronics). With the release of the EP “Love Is A Doing Word” in August 2012, the band gave a first impression of how the world sounds, which the duo has been delving into: melancholic, floating, diversely tinkering, melodically playful songs, for ears that long for tender comfort in these cynical times. When Nada Aiko poetically colours the densely crackling, yet at times minimalistic soundscapes with a fragile and gentle voice, and Pascal Holper rhythmically forms the temporal silhouette, a previously undiscovered microcosm is revealed.

DON_T GO
Are a fresh act on the Vienna music scene, but its members Nina Jukić and Alexander Forstner have long been active as musicians in their hometowns of Zagreb and Graz, before moving to the Austrian capital in 2013. Sharing the same living space led to the logical decision to make music together as well. The songs were maturing slowly, from initial musical sketches over lyrics about very personal topics such as love, identity and belonging, to final arrangements which feature the piano, guitar, and drums, as well as synths and live vocal loops. The overall sound creates a delicate balance between melancholic lines, catchy grooves, and the emotional intensity of Nina’s soulful vocals.
