SEGA BODEGA

Hailing from Glasgow and currently residing in Barcelona, Salvador Navarette has earned praise over the past year for his skilful and entirely original remixing ability. With his debut EP dropping at the beginning of 2013, expect cinematic sequences driven by futuristic two-step and hiphop sounds.

His music conjures up heartfelt emotions with a cinematic tenderness as if what you are listening to is destined to accompany a film on the big screen from an epic sci-fi film to a compelling drama. Sega’s approach to creating music successfully combines many elements of differing styles, allowing him to create one complete sound that truly is his own.

With acclaim from the likes of Mad Decent, Radio 1 and Inverted Audio as well as official remixes for Jakwob and Lana Del Ray under his belt, Sega looks to be taking everything in it’s stride heading into 2013.

FID MELLA

Fid Mella has laced beats for various Italian and Austrian MCs, he was the second winner of the 2011 beat fight and produced the official Splash Anthem 2012 feat. Tefla & Jaleel, Bernd Bass, MoTrip, Marsimoto & Moop Mama.Dadas

Go grab Fid Mellas Solo Ablum ‚Tatas Plottn‘ now!

F*ck a beat tape and motherf*ck boom-bap. This is an album of instrumental hip-hop music from 2012! And its a concept album too. ‚Tata’s Plottn‘ is South Tyrol slang for ‚Dad’s Records‘. Fid Mella produced the records over the last two years in his home-town Meran. Whenever he was visiting his family, he headed straight to his father’s records collection and chopped beats on the spot. Mella’s father was a serious prog-rock head which you can easily tell when listening to this record. Nuff said. To keep all things family, Mella asked his brother Sebastian to do the artwork. Which he did. If the cover looks familiar to you for some reason, you can rate yourself a proper record head. If not, you better ask your father…

SOIA & BAND

Made in Taiwan and brought to Vienna, Austria (her parents‘ origin) the culture clash incepted an affinity for a wide range of music. Growing up listening to classical music and African jazz, Billie Holiday’s sadness and beloved fusion jazz gave birth to her musical approach, while abstract hip hop damaged the rest. Her sound varies from jazzy improvisation to Nu Soul, creating her own unique style through her code-lacking manners. She has spent a lot of time traveling Asia, the States and Southern Africa. While working on her Master thesis in Biotechnology she met the producer Mez.

Mez is currently studying piano at the Vienna Jazz Conservatory and is also collaborating with artists such as Raashan Ahmad. The quality obsessed artist of Jewish descent surprises with distinguished harmonies, organic vibrant beats and innovative sound sources.

Soulful things lay ahead after their first cooperation ‚Obtaining‘. Listen for yourself. Together they have been working on material for their upcoming EP ‚Mood Swings‘ which is planned to be released in 2012. The debut EP will reflect on her own mood swings, from melancholic soul, stream of consciousness turned song, to feel good tunes – always going beyond the surface.
