One time pin up boy for the baile funk sound of Rio, Edu K has developed his own powerful hybrid of rap, rave and bass a sound that has found currency with leaders of the new school like the Crookers and Sinden.
His current Headbanger EP and forthcoming Raver Lovin release on Sweat It Out are complemented by his LP and six EPs on Berlins Man Recordings, plus upcoming singles on the Crookers Potty Mouth label and Fat Boy Slims Southern Fried records. Raver Lovin features a remix by Beatport chart-toppers Nadastrom making the clubs jump this month.
Edu Ks music and image has gone global in campaigns for Sony Ericsson (using the video produced by Bryan Barber who cut ‚Hey Ya‘ for Outkast) and Adidas in Europe. Likewise, he has taken his live rave show around the world, including tours across the US and South America, Europe, Russia and Australia twice, smashing all states on the We Love national tour.
