Alone is a sci-fi dark minimal digital synth monoband, started in 1994. Alone tooks the alternative route to synth-pop and wave, singing strange-loner ballads over heavy industrial rhythms. Inspired by films such as Stalker or Altered States, social-abstract monuments of former Yugoslavia and comics like Moebius’ ‘Sur l’étoile’, Alone makes music about other worlds.
It’s discography holds 6 albums on CDrs and Tapes, topped by a retrospective LP “Fossilized In Concrete” released by Treue um Treue;as they say “like a voice from the outer world, alone takes us to the nexus
in time and space where each one may find his/her golden path”.
La Draganda found her afinity and love in the NY-Underground-House-Vogue-Culture. She knows all the legends like Benny Ninja, Javier Ninja, Archie Burnett, Cesar Valentino, Krystine Walker, who inspired and adopted her. At Vanity Vague she will show us her performance personality. La Draganda is a member of “All Female House “, “The House of Harletz” and “The House of Ninja”. She was even voguing for the House-Divas like Barbara Tucker and Crystal Waters.
Between Libido and Thanatos, No Wave and Post-Disco the hard-to-find vinyl addicts and gruesome twosome Jenny ¥ohn & Giorgio! – Founder of the underground dance night ”Disco Frisco” (booked Antoni Maiovvi 2012) and Club Hot Shit (since 2004) – now gratis in Aktion with their new club night “Zellophan” presenting “Totally Wired Records” or bringing Neud Photo from N.Y.C. to Vienna.
