Stoner Rock Austria celebrates its 1st Birthday, and we would like to thank all the people out there, who are responsible for the great success of this community.

Therefore we want to share an evening with you, packed with tons of riffs, heavy psychedelia and massive grooves.

Black Rainbows (ITA)

Founded by Gabriele Fiori and joined by Marco De Masi and Alberto Croce. They sound like a mix of 70’s like MC5, Blue Cheer, Hawkwind, Black Sabbath and hard psych-stoner from 90’s as Kyuss, Monster Magnet, Fu-manchu, Qotsa and Nebula.

Shared the stage with band as: Airbourne, Nebula, Karma to Burn, Saviours, Jucifer, Farflung, Naam, Ancestors, Entrance Band, Fatso Jetson, Witchcraft, Dead Meadow, Black Mountain, Los Natas, White Hills, Micheal Davis from MC5, Vic du Monte.

They have toured Europe several times, toured US and invited to festivals such Duna Jam and Stoned From The Underground.

Formed in Warsaw in 2008, Satellite Beaver search for their own style and they are more stubborn than Sisyphus itself. Inspired by traditional grunge and stoner rock genres, band came a long way through different influences what in practice means searching for thickest guitar strings and biggest crash cymbals ever created.

What’s more, they dared to spread their “tune it lower” philosophy during live performances with local and foreign stoner bands such as Belzebong, Sungrazer, Lonely Kamel, Karma To Burn or Mars Red Sky.

Satellite Beaver are preparing brand new material for debut album release, and we are more than proud that they will join our party!

Parasol Caravan crank their amps up to 11 and play heavy rock with stoner and psychedelic elements. They are a dirty soundbastard between Black Stone Cherry and Kyuss with never ending groove, fat guitar riffs that have no mercy with your neck and incredible whiskey soaked vocals that get under your skin.

Since the end of 2009 the four piece is rocking as many stages as possible and honoring their idols of the past without losing touch with the modern rock scene.
