The Moles
The Moles play what can only be described as Explosive Rock & Roll. In 2013 a fusion of unlikely proportions occurred when an Australian vocalist armed with a backpack found himself joining forces with a talented band in a sleepy Austrian town. With the new found energy a new style of songs quickly flowed into the practice room, gigs started to be played and people started to take notice. After receiving critical acclaim from Austrian National band comp ‚Local Hero’s‘ it was decided that material should be put into a recording studio ASAP – with this task they did well to team up with producer Maciek Dabek from WUK studios (http://about.me/maciekdabek) to produce their free release 6 track EP ‚To the Free & To the Damned‘ (can be found on The Moles Facebook page) which was recorded using minimal effects to give an accurate sound you can expect to hear live…….. This is where the fun begins….. with over 70 years of musical experience between it’s 4 members, huge excitement levels and a no holding back attitude on stage you can be guaranteed an epic time at a Moles gig, whether you want to sit back and tap your feet…. So lautet das Motto der jungen, neu entstandenen Deutsch Rock-Pop/Alternativ Band aus Wien, die mit ihren kritischen Texten, ausgereifter Musik zurzeit gewaltig auf sich Aufmerksam macht!
Die Finalistinnen vom Local Heros Austria 2014, kreieren gemeinsam mit viel Gefühl und noch mehr Herz einen ganz eigenen Sound, mit dem sie es schaffen die Menschen zu begeistern und zu berühren.
Die sonst so männlich dominierte Musikszene darf sich über fünf tolle Musikerinnen freuen:
Gabi Fiedler, Songwriterin und Sängerin der Band bringt mit ihrer quirligen Art und ihrer unverkennbaren Stimme, 100% Authentizität auf die Bühne – die Funken ihrer Leidenschaft springen auch auf das Publikum über.
Leadgitarristin Carina H. reizt mit ihren schnellen Fingern und professioneller Technik alle möglichen Gitarrensolos aus.
Drummerin Kimmy bringt die Songs durch ihren Hardrock-Einfluss zum kochen und ist auf der Bühne die absolute Stagequeen.
Das neuste Mitglied, Viki, legt mit sowohl kräftigen als auch gefühlvollen Grooves einen tollen und wertvollen Bass-Teppich unter alle querfunk-Songs.
Mit bluesigen-Einflüssen und gefühlvollen Gitarrenriffs ergänzt Carina T. die Musik von querfunk zu einem großen und runden Ganzen.
