Mein Wagen war nur noch eine einzige Rauchwolke. Als sich in der Werkstatt die Nebelschwaden lichteten, merkte ich, dass die Garage nur noch von flackernden Neonscheinwerfern beleuchtet war.
Zwei Mechaniker in öl-verschmierten Overalls hängten sich Gitarren um und ein dritter kam an einem Schlagzeug sitzend auf einer Hebebühne aus dem Boden gefahren. Sie legten mit dieser trashigen Surf-Musik los, die Bikini-Girls und einen Gorilla anlockte. Ein Typ namens Quentin schenkte Cocktails aus und ich erlebte den wildesten Dance Off meines Lebens.
Der Motor meines Autos läuft auch wieder wie neu. Another job done right!

Terror strikes from the bottom of River Danube – this invasion of generic Viennese natives brings you a ton of reverb-drenched guitars, swirling melodies from a fretless bass and primitive, hyper-sexual pounding drums, celebrating sonic landscapes built out of high-speed instro-mental Rock’n Roll. Their origins and influences yet remain unclear; however, the most widely accepted theory is that they were taken at an early age from their natural parents Dick Dale, Edmund Sackbauer and Lily Munster by hideous aliens who exposed them to some sort of education solely consisting of B-movies and Man or Astro-Man records in a Martian orphanage run by the Cat Women of the Moon.

SURFER JOE (I)
Lorenzo Surfer Joe is truly one of the key figures in modern surf music. Basically present to any world surf music event as artist or organizer, Lorenzo has collected an experience of more than a thousand concerts since the late 90s.
When talking about surf music with Surfer Joe you don’t look for compromises: reverb, high rhythms and great energy! It is a concert that looks back to the origins of the genre, but shows its evolution and variety, going from the heavy Dick Dale sound to lounge and progressive atmospheres, always keeping an eye on the melody and the quality of the arrangements.
