Dan Drastic (Moon Harbour, De):
Dan Drastic is a premium constant part with his house sets in Germany. Back in the Nineties he was one of the most active and popular DJs in his hometown Chemnitz and he organised this, Dan Drastic made his way to Leipzig and to Moon Harbour Recordings. He released productions on Highgrade Records, Lorna and on the English label Hairy Claw, which is a part of Stevie Kotey’s Bear Entertainment and as well on the German-New Zealand Label Curl Curl Music. At the end of summer 2008 followed his new release “Slice of Life” on Moon Harbour Recordings and ‚Bad Wolf‘ as a part of the new Moon Harbour Labelcompilation Inhouse Vol. 3. Michael Melchner (Moon Harbour, Cargo edition, eklo, De):
Als Michael Melchner Mitte der Achtziger vor den Toren Nürnbergs geboren wird, bekommt er gerade noch die letzten Atemzüge der einst zwei deutschen Staaten mit. Von Kindesbeinen an fasziniert ihn die elektronische Musik, die bekanntlich ihren Anfang in den Eighties genommen hat. Infiziert vom Groove beginnt Melchner Platten zu kaufen, versucht sich als DJ und bestreitet zudem die ersten Gehversuche, was die Produktion von Tracks angeht.
So nimmt er 2004 an einem DJ Contest in seiner Heimatstadt teil, aus dem er schließlich als Sieger hervorgeht.
Mit seiner ganz eigenen Interpretation von House und Techno lässt er die Konkurrenten hinter sich und wird Resident bei Kiss Klub, einer monatlichen Partyreihe im Nürnberger Club Rakete.
