It’s 2001 in New York City. Rebekah Aff, inspired by the thriving techno scene, buys her own pair of turntables and begins playing at Galapagos and Canal 59. She soon moves to Berlin in search of more freedom and chances to expand her musical knowledge and DJ experience.
In 2004 Rebekah beings playing in Berlin at Stereo33, the infamous BEATSTREET parties, and at the renowned Club der Visionaere, quickly becoming an integral part of the Berlin night life.
Rebekah has continued as a resident at CDV for over 9 years, known for playing multi-hour sets in a place that feels like home. From the purity of these feelings and this setting she develops her own party series, “Night Owl.”
In 2008 Rebekah starts playing as a warm-up act for Minus and CONTAKT parties in Berlin and abroad. Her experience spans capacities from 200 to 3000, playing in clubs such as Fabric, Paradiso, Club 4, Rashomon, Underground Ibiza, Brixton Academy, Mint Club and Klub D in Cyprus, to name just a few.
In 2012 Rebekah gets booked to play at the Quinto del Sol Festival in Chile. During her two-month stay Rebekah plays in several clubs in Santiago de Chile and Viña del Mar, meanwhile establishing a strong home-base connection to the Cigarra.FM radio station in Santiago, for which she continues to participate with radio programming.
Rebekah collects and plays the music she loves – everything from deep dub sounds, classic house and Detroit techno, to Bristolian house and garage. For her, each mix gives her the chance to create a new experience.
