Genau ein Jahr ist es nun her, seitdem wir Mark zuletzt unseren Gast nennen durften. Seine Eigenschaft als absoluter Garant, hat dieser Junge seither nur noch ausgebaut. Wir können getrost von uns behaupten, eine Liebhaber-Gemeinde geschaffen zu haben.
Eines ist sicher, trotzdem der Herr so selten veröffentlicht, seine Live-Auftritte vergisst man nicht so schnell. Mit einer souveränen Zurückhaltung gehört der Londoner ohne Zweifel zu den intensivsten Sound-Designern der elektronischen Musik. Ob große Namen oder Freunde aus dem Dunstkreis der Stadtpark-Pose, Mark Henning ist ein ganz besonderer Teil unserer Geschichte, die wir mit euch zusammen schreiben.
Dazu liefern wir eine weitere Kostbarkeit! Der erst 23 Jahre alte Michael Büchel alias Kejeblos zählt längst zum festen DJ-Inventar von Zürichs wichtigem Schaufenster für ausgefallene und kreative Clubmusik, dem mitten im „Chreis Cheib‘ angesiedelten Club Zukunft.  Ursprünglich aus dem Fürstentum Liechtenstein stammend, ist er, zusammen mit drei befreundeten Produzenten, Teil des Projektes „Wavetest‘, das auf dem stilbildenden Zürcher Label Drumpoet Community Songs veröffentlicht.
Wir freuen uns den Weg durch den Winter fast geschafft zu haben und den Frühling mit einer energiegeladenen Zusammenkunft einzuleiten…

About Mark Henning:
London’s Mark Henning has risen up as one of the underground’s true players – recording for a volley of acclaimed international labels. Born in 1977 to English and German parents, he has spent most of his life in England, though has never forgotten his German roots and is now firmly settled in Berlin. Having released his debut album ‘Jupiter Jive’ on legendary UK institution Soma Recordings in the summer of 2008 to great acclaim, followed up with eight EPs in 2009, Mark is currently concentrating on DJing and touring his Live PA all over the world. This is one artist who is really breaking out of the mold, having been picked as a nominee for DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards for Best Breakthrough Act 2009.
Mark’s sound sits somewhere between house and techno, with a healthy dose of funk, swing, darkness and weirdness – all the required ingredients to have the crowds busting crazy moves on the dancefloor. He has established his artist career not just through his productions – on well- regarded labels such as Soma, Frankie, Clink, Cynosure, Trapez, Freude am Tanzen and Einmaleins – but also through his worldwide performances, having performed at clubs such as Fabric, Watergate, Rex Club, Weekend, SPACE, Privilege, Bar 25, Panorama Bar, The Arches, Lux and Harry Klein to name just a few, as well as festivals such as Portugal’s BOOM, Vienna’s PraterUnser and Chocolate Festival in Lausanne. Mark also plays regularly for Zurich favourite Cityfox.
Mark’s tracks have been licensed to WATERGATE, BUGGED OUT, FABRIC and M-NUS compilations amongst others – as well as achieving regular airplay on radio stations worldwide. His much-respected productions have been supported and played out regularly over the past few years by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Akufen, Steve Bug, Loco Dice and Richie Hawtin. As a remixer, he also keeps busy – having reworked tracks by artists such as Mike Monday, Gaetano Parisio, Mr. G, Lee Jones, Tigerskin and Chris Fortier.
With upcoming releases on Watergate Records, Cityfox, Soma, Mean and Vitalik later this year, Mark continues to prove himself as a consistent producer of quality, quirky house music. A true talent simmering at the surface, 2011 will expose Mr Henning to even greater frontiers.
