NEW LOOK is a husband and wife musical duo: synth-playing siren and former model Sarah Ruba and her multi-instrumentalist producer-husband Adam Pavao. Together they spent the last three years recording across the creative trinity of Berlin, Brooklyn and the sleepy hollow town of Hamilton, near Niagara Falls in Ontario, Canada.
In 2011 !K7 signed the band and released their critically acclaimed self-titled debut, which was listed as album of the year by magazines like The Guardian.
With its looping melodies and weaving bass lines, each track contained within New Look follows a pattern that continually focuses around a single melody – yet the album presents collectively current, retrospective and pioneering songs.
