A dinamic quartet of top musicians from the italian jazz soul scene meet the doctor of funk Alfred ‚Pee Wee‘ Ellis. The combo is led by the virtuoso guitarist Danny Santimone (Eumir Deodato, Fabrizio Bosso, Jimmy Owens) while producer & keyboard player Gianni Partner (Ed Cherry, Fabio Concato, Spaghetti Swing) adds a handful of soul and groove.
Christian Capiozzo (Enrico Rava, Cheryl Porter, Tony Scott) and Giorgio St.Easy (Vaanya Diva, B.Cola, Poggipollini) brings a cosmic dimension to the rhythm section, with intringuing drumming, hard basslines and a touch of italian flavour.
The Mob Peppers, a new collaboration with the alway jazzy and still funky ‚Pee Wee‘ Ellis, one of the most important members of James Brown’s band in the 60′, writer of songs like ‚cold sweat‘ and ‚the chicken‘.
