They were on the road in January 1989 as much hailed support for L.O.R.D and as well on their own, well-attended tour through Germany. The mini-album ‘Forrrest!’ was released in April 1990 and the band went on touring throughout the world. Japan was quick to appreciate the Braunschweiger’s fast, heavy and furious style. Public response to their release was insanely euphoric (multiple rankings in the Top 20 of various magazine charts) which brought two top Japanese metal magazines to sent their journalists to Germany in order to further the cause of this new German metal band in the land of the rising sun. Consequently the band played four sold out shows in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya and a second Tokyo show in front of 2,500 deliriously happy fans.
After a few years of silence KNIGHTS INTERNATIONAL are now back on stage and announce their new signing on BRÜNSWICK RECÖRDS. They will present their new mint self titled 7inch record, freshly printed on glossy shit-brown vinyl in 33rpm. Rumours in the underground metal scene proliferate: it has been heard that the disc will be in the shape of Tokyo.
