Slow Slow Loris is an experimental/avant-garde melodic noise-music duo based in Berlin, Germany; a collaboration of ANY and G6PD. Using voice and electronic devices, they reveal the melody within the discord. They just released their first Slow Slow Loris album, From Monster till Mourning on Staaltape.

ANY (angela nina yeowell) transmits data through voice and noise music. Along with processed samples, she plays broken melodies on misshapen instruments, and sings to the resulting waves of intensity and silence, boredom and splendor. She is interested in where noise meets music, where un-rhythm meets accuracy and where raw meets craft. Her espionage of the sub-conscious can sometimes result in visuals, such as the creation of, and performance with non-musical instruments and sonic costumes.
G6PD shapes sculptures of sound with unpredictable outcomes, like subconsciously painting emotions. With a non-conceptual, experimental approach, he uses and abuses audio, destroys song structures and music styles, and collages unexpected tunes that often lead into a sonic weird deep electro-acoustic mess.

ELEKTROAKUSTISCHES KAMMERMUSIKENSEMBLE (AT)
Das elektroakustische Kammermusikensemble EAKME ist das gemeinsame Bandprojekt von acht Musikern aus der Wiener Elektronik/Elektroakustik/Free Impro-Szene: Klaus Gstettner, Tobias Leibetseder, Michael Mikolasek, Thomas Oeggl, Patric Redl, Julian Rubisch, Jakob Schauer und Aras Seyhan haben sich mit ihrer Band der Live-Performance experimenteller elektronischer Musik verschrieben.
In wechselnden Besetzungen bewegt sich das Ensemble zwischen intimen Klangräumen, krachenden Noise-Texturen, wummernden Drones, surrealen Soundscapes und abstrakten Breitwand-Klangflächen. Allein schon die ungewöhnliche Größe dieses Klangkörpers verspricht großes Kino für die Ohren.
Großen Wert legt EAKME auf Zusammenspiel und Live-Faktor. Vieles wird improvisiert, Klangideen werden spontan entwickelt. Das vielfältige Instrumentarium der elektroakustischen Bigband umfasst analoge Modular-Synthesizer, Gitarreneffektgeräte, Sampler, als Klangerzeuger umgedeutete Alltagsgegenstände und vieles mehr. Nur die omnipräsenten Laptops sucht man hier vergebens. Jeder Sound wird in bester Kammermusik-Manier manuell gespielt, die Ensemblegröße macht`s möglich.
Kennen gelernt haben sich die Ensemblemitglieder im Lehrgang für Computermusik und elektronische Medien am legendären ELAK-Institut der Musikuni Wien. Ihre Konzerte sind aber alles andere als akademisch: Die elektroakustische Boygroup lässt es in ihren Konzerten meist richtig krachen.
