Jimmy Trash & the Gunpowder Temple of Heaven is a violent rock’n’roll trash experience with the goal of enveloping the audience with a sense of lust and danger.They take their cues from sensual Louisiana swamp sounds, psychedelic freak out culture, voodoo ceremony, and violent performance art.As well as being the house band at famous underground venue “Westgermany”, they have played countless shows throughout Berlin, from brothels and squat bars to the world-renowned “Haus der Kulturen der Welt”.They have had the pleasure to perform with the late great Jay Reatard, Live Fast Die, Yussuf Jerusalem, Ty Segall,DM Bob and Tyvek.The band includes members of Chuckamuck and Charlie Megira and the ModernDance Club.
