SHASHAMANE HIFI was born in 2007 in Sondrio, a small city in the north-italian mountains. Founded by two friends (Andrea e Banzi), united by the passion for jamaican and rastafarian culture. Andreaselector, reggae lover from 1999, begins to travel all around europe for searching and finding many rare vinyls from jamaican labels, from foundation to dancehall. After the holidays in Jamaica he decides to found a sound called Shashamane Hi-Fi.
The purpose of the sound is to promote the story of reggae vibes using strictly vinyl records – especially original press roots, rub a dub and ’90 dancehall. Year after year,the sound plays in many citys and yards in Italy, and alongside big artists and crew like: General Levy, Boom Da Bash, General Palma, Vito War, Lampa Dread (One love Hi Powa), and many many more sounds from all italian towns..
Shashamane Hi-Fi also promotes many party in Sondrio area and in 2011/2012 the sound begins play in other european countrys like Switzerland and Belgium. Now Shashamane Hi-Fi is ready to spread JAH MUSIC everywhere to entertain the reggae massive and drive people crazy for Reggae music!
