Ich könnte erzählen, dass ich vor bald 10 Jahren mein erstes Konzert gespielt habe, dass ich auch Gitarrist bei Lehnen und der Sänger von the who the what the yeah bin, dass ich 2011 mein erstes Solo-Album „Weiter“ bei Pumpkin Records und die Download EP „Puzzle“ veröffentlicht habe, dass ich auf Deutsch singe und dazu Gitarre spiele, oder dass es in den Songs u. a. ums Erwachsenwerden, Loslassen, Fehler machen, Dinge beenden und neu anfangen geht. Aber eigentlich geht es um die Musik und was ich noch zu sagen habe steht schon in den Songtexten, oder zwischen den Zeilen.

Hello.  My name is PJ Bond, how are you?  Well, I hope.  I am a man who’s spent the better part of the last 15 years in basements, tour vans, on floors, and in and out of a variety of situations that all seem to begin and end with making and playing music.  I am incredibly blessed to have been part of quite a few bands that I hugely appreciate, respect and love.  Currently, however, I am playing music alone, under my own name, and singing songs that I believe in.
.. .. i’m a free man. i live out of my car, travel, write songs, sing with full and happy lungs. i’m writing about it all and eventually will turn my scratchings into a book. i’ve dropped out of “real life,” and am living a real life. i want to live, laugh and love. i hope you’re doing the same. .. .. come visit me when i’m in your area and sing along. ..

Mark McCabe is a singer/songwriter from Aberdeen, Scotland. UK Folk stalwart and writer Chris T-T describes his music as, ‘Melancholic, witty and moving acoustic songs from Aberdeen’s rising star who faced impending fame in Scotland by running away to Paris’. Over the years Mark has had the pleasure of sharing a stage with many great performers including, Chris T-T, Frank Turner, Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly, Meursault, Lemuria, Grass Cut, Serafina Steer, The Flatliners, The Arteries and many many more.
Late last year Mark came 2nd in a UK wide competition to release a split single with Frank Turner, a competition which was judged by him and his label Xtra Mile. Furthermore, in June this year Mark supported Frank at the B72 in Vienna to a sold out audience of 250.  Having now moved back to the UK after two years living in Paris Mark will be touring for around 5 months this year and will also record his second full length album.
