Aja Ireland am 4. June 2026 @ Das LOT.

A fierce performance of mutant femme energy.

Moult Mouth (Infinite Machine) is an intense, transformative live AV show and EP due to be released February –  April 2026, blending experimental UK bass, industrial techno, baile funk percussion and sound design with powerful physical performance. Created with visual artist Joey Holder, the performance dissolves the human form into hybrid creatures, offering an immersive space for audiences to confront unresolved tension within their own bodies.

Movement is central. Aja uses dance as a ritual of reclamation, employing the monstrous form as armour, allowing sensuality to surface safely and with intention. Costumes by Studio FCLX and SKNDLSS exaggerate form and create protective altered skins.

The AV visuals merge digital organisms, shifting organic forms and unstable bodies that morph the performer into an evolving creature. Sound and image combine to create a charged, cathartic atmosphere that dismantles boundaries between performer, audience and environment.

The set is a high-energy fusion, beginning with tracks from the EP before transitioning into a live hardware-based techno set blending deconstructed club and industrial techno.

AJA IRELAND is an award-winning sound and performance artist, creating immersive soundscapes that fuse club energy with bold performance.

Blending techno, experimental bass, hyperpop, and industrial textures, Aja’s work is shaped by a distinct visual identity co-created through bespoke costume design and live AV sets. Described in The WIRE as „shifting from ethereal diffusions to potent explosions,“ her live shows have spanned 3 UK and European tours, with sold-out performances and headline slots at festivals including CTM, Berghain, Sonic Acts and SXSW London, collaborations/ releases with techno veterans Perc and DJ Rebekah and international press in VICE, The Guardian, Dazed, The Quietus, The Wire and more.
