Derrick May:
As one of the “Belleville Three”, together with Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, May is considered one of the founders of Techno and is also nicknamed “The Innovator”. 
“Strings of Life”, “Nude Photo” or “It Is What It Is” are Techno Classics which even today, 25 years later, still haven’t lost any of the magic which has marked the sound of Detroit and make it famous worldwide.
