Matthias Erian war lange Zeit Wien und bestreiten seinen Lebensmittelpunkt zur Zeit in Berlin. Er bewegt sich zwischen experimenteller Electronic und AvantgardePop, Co-Organisiert das Festival New-Adits in Klagenfurt, Arbeitet für verschiedene internationale Theater- und Tanzprojekte und fand den Weg in den Free-Jazz durch das Projekt “Taro”.
“Definitionen werden von außerhalb gemacht, man selbst bemüht sich Offenheit zu pflegen.”
Improvisation als Mittel für Klangfindung oder als Konzeption ist immer in seinen Arbeiten verflochten.

” … Soon, things take a further left- field turn and the sounds begin to be processed by Erian. He is the wild card that keeps the music fresh and, one assumes, the musicians on their toes. Phrases are sampled, instrumental timbres are distorted and the music is unpredictable. It is by turns delicate and filigreed yet can take on a harsh and angular cast at the drop of a hat. The group interplay tends to be spacious but it is finely tuned. And at 38 minutes, the program doesn´t outstay its welcome. ”

Max Bogner
Max Bogner is a Viennese artist working with performance, sound, movement and various combinations thereof. Apart from an elementary focus on free improvisation and an inclination towards the intuitive his work also draws on more conceptualized approaches like trance, the unconscious mind, ritualism, density of time, occupation of space, altered room characteristics, the movement of sound, multi-speaker/feedback systems and the correlation of acoustic, electronic and sampled materials. He has performed solo, in duets, ensembles, and orchestras all over Europe and as a curator of the mo.e artspace in Vienna has initiated several international collaborations, workshops and festivals, establishing the mo.e as a hub for like-minded artists.

Lukas Lauermann
Lukas Lauermann ist Cellist, Komponist, Künstler,
ein MUSIKALISCHER FEINGEIST der Wiener Szene, bekannt als Cellist
bei den Bands A Life, A Song, A Cigarette, Soap&Skin, dem Alp Bora Quartett und als Elektroniker bei Ping Ping, ausserdem als Theatermusiker und Musiker bei Performances u.a Gelatine, spoken word Performances.

Rudi Fischerlehner
Rudi Fischerlehner plays drums in different musical projects between improvised and experimental music, free-jazz and post-rock. While mostly known for his work with the likes of Olaf Rupp, Matthias Müller, Fiium Shaarrk, Gorilla Mask and Tonia Reeh, he also plays solo drum concerts, writes music and produces film soundtracks for a variety of filmmakers.
