In September 2012 five men embark for the Himalayas. They want to set a speed record in climbing and skiing down Mt. Manaslu (8163 m/26,781ft). In a tragic turn of events, an avalanche hits High Camp, killing eleven mountaineers. The five protagonists manage to rescue some of the survivors buried in the snow. The big question is, do you – can you – stick to your plans in the face of death? Two members quit, the other three proceed to the summit. Only one of them skis down.
