Mike Beim aka Skwerl is arguably the most revolutionary rodent in club music. While most of his contemporaries have forgotten where the nuts come from, he knows every branch of the tree. Less cryptically spoken: Disco and Jazz, Techno and Soul, all account for the diversity in his forest of influences. Stevie Wonder or Robert Hood, it all makes sense.
Ever since the release of his fantabulous track „All Woman“ on Jazzanova’s influential Sonar Kollektiv imprint, the Tel Avivian Viennese from Odessa has had a string of remixes, two jacking EPs on DJ Hell’s legendary Gigolo-Label and currently works on his first artist album featuring modern greats like Paul Randolph. A distinguished DJ, lucid live performer and masterly musician, Skwerl will be our very very special guest on the hot summer night of June 26 for Tempo’s season closing party!
