EASY STAR ALL-STARS (US): Under direction of multi-instrumentalist and producer Michael Goldwasser the New York collective reinterprets classic concept pop/rock albums in dub-reggae. Brilliantly orchestrated and with respect for the original, the immortal hits from PINK FLOYD (Dub Side Of The Moon), RADIOHEAD (Radio Dread) and the BEATLES (Easy Star’s Lonely Hearts Dub Band) are transferred into Jamaican soundscapes. The band appropriates the original song in an unique way and manages to cross genres convinces critics, rock and dub reggae-inspired fans alike. Especially live on stage.
