Sir Tralala + DJ Kaugummiheldin
DJing started as a hobby when I decided to organize an evening for fun in a viennese club. The owners liked it how my well designed dramaturgy could build bridges for the anarchistic pluralism in musical style, so they asked for more.
That must have been around 2005, and I still do it there once or twice a month.
For sure, meanwhile there a some more clubs in vienna who like to book me, and I also did it at bigger festivals 😉
Although I do not see myself as a promoter, sometimes I also do curate special events when I am asked and therefore am responsible for all the music happening there, including the setting up of the live acts and all the necessary communication work in the run up to make the music happen (in the earlier days it could even happen that I found myself behind the live mixing console or fixing the stage lights).
