NINA ROSA is a Prague-based world folk trio whose music is joyful, colorful, and unapologetically human
— weaving jazz, swing, reggae, and folk into something that belongs everywhere and nowhere at once.
Slovak violinist/vocalist Nina Marinová, Czech guitarist Antonín Dlapa, and accordionist Michal Mihok met at jazz conservatory and found a shared
language that cuts across borders.
Sung in six languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Slovak), their multilingual repertoire appeals to diverse European audiences.
Nina Rosa has already performed 200+ concerts across Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Poland, and France, including festivals such as Pohoda (SK), United Islands (CZ), and Akkordeon Festival (AT).
Their debut album Discover (2019) earned nominations for Newcomer of the Year and Album of the Year at Slovakia’s Radio_Head Awards. Their second album Joy (2025) charted #16 and #18 on World Music Charts Europe (Sept/Oct 2025) — making Nina Rosa one of only two Central European acts in
the Top 20. The album received Album of the Week features on two Slovak national radio stations and a 2026 Folk Award nomination.
