The Canadian ensemble FRIENDLY RICH AND THE LOLLIPOP PEOPLE are presenting a music-performative blend of cabaret,vaudeville, eastern european folk and chamber music. Friendly Rich (realname Richard Marsella) is a Canadian avant-gardecomposer/musician from Brampton, Ontario. Mr.Rich has composed background music for 3 seasons of MTV’sThe TomGreen Show and produced 7 full-lengthreleases todate. The songs shall be described as anmaelstrom between Danny Cohen,Tom Waits and obscurestories about ancient breadbakers,rotten fruits andcanadian box legends – as seen in the black and whiteflicks or in a Tim Burton film.
