Comrade DNB presents: Ill Skillz

Philipp Roskot a.k.a IllSkillz makes beats ever since. And his first contact with EDM was years before he started his own club at Flex Vienna during the late 90s along with a bunch of other music afficionados. But it all started in 2001 mainly focused on the hype of drum and bass music in Central-, Eastern-Europe and the UK. He worked together with artists like Dub FX and Buraka Som Sistema and released tracks on almost every renowned d’n’b label back in the days. Also, IllSkillz is co-founder of the sub genre trance and bass along with his famous track ‚Be There 4 U‘!

Started off as a duo, now, after more than 10 years of constantly testing the boundaries and smashing venues all over the world (first Austrian d’n’b act to tour the whole US), IllSkillz is finally releasing his new album. It will be out on Dim Mak in early 2013 and is more electro/dubstep-styled then their older material. The single ‚Birdz‘ will be out November 27 on Beatport & iTunes to hit dance floors globally.
