HORISONT
´77 – SEVENTY SEVEN
BLACK MIRRORS

Formed in 2006, Horisont have spent close to a decade kicking ass. The band is newly signed to Century Media Records and with a new album in the pipeline and a European headline tour just around the corner Horisont is burning hot.
Horisont’s fifth album and gold-plated game-changer for the retro rock firmament is titled About Time and is set to be released worldwide on February 3rd, 2017, via Century Media Records.
The band comments:
“Good people of Europe it’s time to rock n roll again. We had a blast touring America and we know the About Time Tour is going to be just as awesome! It’s been a while since we played for you all and with our new record this will be the best one yet! With us we bring two awesome bands, our Century Media label mates ‘77 and the oh so cool Black Mirrors. We look forward hanging with them and seeing them do what they do best! So, don’t miss this, get you’re tickets now!”
About Time marks the start of the band’s second decade with an audacious flourish: brimming with smart ideas, steeped in old school soul and every bit as vivid and substantial as the classics albums that first inspired Horisont to rock out together, it’s a great leap forward for all concerned.
“There are a couple of songs on the new album that probably will raise a few eyebrows, but overall you’ll probably recognize the old ‘Horisont sound’,” Axel explains. “We kind of continued with the thing we did on Odyssey but refined it to perfection. We’ve always been inspired by the great acts from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s…Thin Lizzy, Scorpions, Fleetwood Mac, ELO and John O’Banion just to name a few.”
